Three events of the RoMigSc project were held in Slovenia at the beginning of June 2018. On Wednesday, June 6, was organised seminar for teachers; seminar was held in Celje (at the seat of ISSBS), and attended by 16 participants. On Friday, June 8, two events took place in Rakičan (in Rakičan castle): seminar for teachers (30 participants) and national seminar (80 participants).
In the period between March and July 2018, 21 volunteers performed voluntary activities with Roma and migrant children.
Activities were carried out in 12 schools and kindergartens and other organizations in Slovenia. All volunteers will receive certificate, acknowledging the knowledge and skills that they have gained. Participants/students who attended training for volunteers, carried out volunteering activities (120 hours) and submitted report on volunteering activities will earn 6 ECTS – BA (first cycle), certificate issued by ISSBS – Course title: Social Responsibility and Volunteering.
